This is what canoeing is all about. Travelling down a beautiful river, with plenty of room in your canoe for all those little luxuries. The excitement of negotiating small rapids and the satisfaction of new skills learned and applied; and all this with the support and guidance of professional, patient instructors.

The rivers of the Lake District and surrounding areas are amongst some of the best in the UK and are perfect for those first experiences at this skilful and rewarding form of Open Canoeing.

During our day trips we will help you develop the skills and understandings needed to not only have a great day with us, but also carry those skills into the future for your own adventures. And if you are looking to develop your skills further, we can run a personally tailored skills course over several.
